A mini H&M haul

This skirt really caught my eye was this skirt, the lace detail is really intricate and very in at the moment, paired with a simple white vest tucked in, a pendant and I'm out the door. :) Its black and has elastic round the waist so it hugs your figure:) It was £14.99, as far as skirts go especially ones as pretty as this it's pretty good going.

Close up of the pattern:

I love lace!

Next is a basic staple that every girl should have ;)
A HIGH WAISTED SKIRT or 5 ;)
This one is just a simple dark navy skirt which I also have in Black, which again has elastic round the waist but at the fraction of the cost £2.99 On par with primark prices just better quality what more can you ask for ?! They come in a variety of shades and patterns

The next thing I got on that trip was this gorgeous nude flower headband, normally I'm not a head band wearing person but this one really caught my eye especially the price tag £1.99 what a snip!

Hope you enjoyed be sure to check them out next time you pop in :)

Hammy sitting for the week !

A little girl just came over to deliver her hamster "ginger" he lived in a bright pink castle cage before I gave them by Ex- hammy "truffles" cage. :)
I literally now know that if you squeeze a hamster too hard its eye will pop out the sockets... yes literally
and it wasn't a site I ever want to encounter again. Don't worry Ginger you can have a break from the eye popping 8) -- supposed to look like bulgey eyes but kinda failed really haha :)

His accommodation : A two storey deluxe apartment overlooking the tellie and couch.

Ginger in his happy stuffing his face state :D

KURT GEIGER let me down :(

A month of so ago I purchase these shoes:

I had been eyeing up these beauts for months I'm a complete sucker for black bows! They were in the sale and getter harder to get hold of by the week. Eventually I found my size in a House of Fraser....... yes SUCCESS ! I was so happy that I was able to purchase these on sale they were £39.00 retailed i think about £50-60 + ?
They are made out of suede really pretty, elegant yet a simple staple to have in a wardrobe, making a casual outfit more complete and an evening one more classy.

DISASTER STRIKES one week after purchasing one of the bows FALL OFF ! :'(
I was walking around the high street low and behold I look down to marvel at my new shoes and there was no bow on the right foot........ I re-traced my steps all the way back and thankfully it was sitting looking unhappy on the dirty car floor.
I took it in to Kurt Geiger and they sent them off to get them repaired........... for the price I paid I expected better........... I always thought of Kurt Geiger = quality but now I'm not convinced.

Nevertheless I got a call a week later to say they have arrived and have been repaired :D :D :D :D
I have missed them dearly yet to pick them up as its a bit of a trek but OHHHH when I do a post will be in order me thinks..............

Anyone else had any problems with the quality of Kurt Geiger and had to have anything sent of to get repaired?
xoxo

MUA all the WAY!

hahaa like my rhyming title ;) That title isn't all true it just sounded cool :)
But.......... MUA are fantastic for the price !

MUA is short for Make Up Academy which is a range by Superdrug where everything is a £1 yes its not a typo 1 frickin £ !

I don't have much from there range but these are the things I bought:
4 nail varnishes in:
Shade 5 (turqouise colour) the nail polish of the WEEK
Shade 18 (nude)
Shade 4 (coral) in my mini primark haul the colour on my toes (needed re- applying!)
Shade 15 (fuchsia)

I am very impressed with these I have yet to try out nude but I'm sure it will turn out to be a winner ..
Shade 4 I have been wearing for weeks on my toes and nails but have converted nails to shade 5 :)
The first coat goes on very sheer so don't be dissapointed 2 coats they say should be enough but I wouldn't be surprised if you need 3.. there is 6.2ml in each pot which is really generous for the price!
The packaging is quite stylish but the fronts of each nail varnish rub off but the back has all the shades and info you need.

sorry about the terrible lighting it doesn't give the shades much justice but check online I will post a link!
from left to right : Shade 5, Shade 15, Shade 4 and shade 18.
I definitely recommend you check them out great for the fashion savvy, yet light on the wallet;)
http://www.superdrug.com/bin/venda?ex=co_wizr-locayta&collate=ivtype&collate=price&collate=cat&collate=brand&sortorder=relevance&fieldcatrestrict=xancestorid&termtextcatrestrict=shop&typecatrestrict=exact&termtextkeywordsearch=make%20up%20academy&typekeywordsearch=keyword&fieldrtype=type&termtextrtype=invt&typertype=exact&termorder=catrestrict:keywordsearch:rtype&template=wz_locayta&pagenum=1&perpage=24&threshold=0&spellcorrect=1&datasource=superdrugen&setpagenum=1&termtextivtype=nailvarnish&typeivtype=exact&fieldivtype=ivtype     unreassuringly long but it works :)

The next products I got were 3 eyeshadows:

Again due to the crappy quality of my camera you can't see the true shade but it gives you a look at the packaging.
Its not flashy but you get what you pay for right? I have taken these eye-shadow's travelling and its sturdy and robust and none of them have shattered! :D SUCCESS
Here  are all 3:

From left to right: Shade 19, Shade 17, Shade 16
these 3 are all matt shadows but they do do sheer ones.

They are all pretty pigmented especially the darker shades!  (the middle one blends in with my skintone more therefore harder to see)

Again shabby camera quality but definitely check them out
Last and well least is there liquid eyeliner in black or what they like to call... Shade 5

the pigmentation is excellent for the price and generally for a liquid eyeliner. Once it dries it doesn't smudge at ALL! No matter how hard you try :)

Only downfall be more imaginative with names!
Hope this helps and would highly recommend you having a look :)

Primark looks promising !

Gr................. don't you wish they had an online store?
I was after some more shoes as some got thrown away due to their unbelievably bad state so these are the ones I purchased:

EW at my feet, someone needs a TAN! ( the pink on my legs is just how I have been sitting)

side view:

Out of the mini haul these ones by far are my favourite they are made of a really pretty faux suede tan material and the studs and ankle strap are really in at the moment they were only £12! bargain I say :)
Next pair I really want in a nail polish colour!

The colour of these beauts was what really pulled me in to buying them, yet there simple and add a bit of personality to your outfit with the pretty studs.
The backs of these shoes are lush and give that extra add of support, and comfort is a bonus ;)
Pretty I think they were on sale for about £9 ! BARGAIN I SAY :)

The next two pairs are basic staples and abit boring but I'm going to show you anyway :)

EWWWWWW dirtyy soles, I promise you they don't smell........ yet.
Priced at a mere £2 each ! Pwoooarrrr whatta a catch of the dayy

I completely forgot that I also bought too jewellery items.

Here is the Pendant:

I think its quite qwerky and adds a hind of sparkle to a black dress/ vest etc. :) I think it was £2.50 which is an utter steal... :D

I have been wanting a nude flower ring like this for AGES! And I'm so glad I found this Beautie for £2! except....... it doesn't fit :( : But I can admire it for now and wait till my fingers fatten up :)

What's your best buy from Primark?

Nail Polish of the WEEK!

My favourite nail polish at the moment:

This picture does not give the colour much justice and my fingers look weird ;)

MUA (make up academy) from Superdrug £1 range :D in shade 5 :).

Blistex Daily Lip Conditioner

-----Miracle in a pot--------

I can't stress enough how great I think this lip balm is :D

I'm so proud that I kept the packaging it came in :')
This is Blistex's description:
A deeply moisturising formula that applies Olive Oil, Grape seed oil & Aloe Vera with antioxidant power to promote naturally healthy and gorgeous lips
CARING FORMULA it also has an SPF of 15
and best till last it doesn't leave a big sad empty hole in your purse :D
At the moment in Superdrug it retails at:
£2.09 !
I find it isn't the most smoothest of applications and you need quite a bit of product to really get it to lather those quenching lips....
Overall its my favourite lip balm of all time which I would never be without!
Buy and try for yourself I don't think you will be dissapointed.
P.s It smells amazing of fresh vanilla very natural smelling :)

Nandos NANDOS NANDOS!

Although this supposed to be more of a beauty fashion related blog, food can't help but windle its way into this blog. It's a big love of mine!
NANDOS IS AMAZING .. bottom line no catch.
If anyone out there who is a Nando's virgin and unfamiliar with their food well here we go :):
Nandos is a Portuguese style restaurant with branches all over the world! That POPULAR :D
They are famous for their PERI PERI SAUCE ! ( will include pictures courtesy of Google) which is traditionally served with chicken and there amazing chips....... best chips out there and there made from real potatoes :O shock HORROR for the Maccie D fans out there ;) proof as my friend found potato skin on one of her fries hahaa :).
Anyway quite the rambling get to the point isn't my strongest area.
When you order your chicken or choice of meat they have a heat-o-meter on the menu to choose which level of spiceyness you want basted all over your mouthwatering meat. The food is pretty basic and you have to order at the counter yourself, the food arrives quickly and their loyalty card has some good perks!
I'm just going to shut up and post a link to their website p.s they also do Veggie options there salads are yum!

Peri Peri sauce in Medium I like to drown my chips in :D

Here's a link to there fabulous website!

My undying love for olives

Olives

Take a look at these bad boys!:
(Sorry about the sheer lack of quantity, photographing them made temptation impossible to resist ;) there healthy right ?)

MMMMMMMmmmmmm........... is the only word which comes to mind when devouring these little gifts from heaven......... what am I kidding there GREAT! as The frosty tiger would say. If only God would hail olives not ice blocks the world would be a better place.
