How low do scammer's want to get? I was looking on Ebay a while back and found my favourite mascara on sale for £1.00! (99p postage), a far cry from the £7.19 you pay in Superdrug. It was brand new in it's packaging so I thought why not?
This mascara wand is the legit one, the consistencies are allot different mainly because this one is a lot older and has dried up. The bristles are very different in comparison, this wand is the main reason I buy this mascara time and time again, it's a rather large wand and the bristles are short yet there are many of them, which coats your lashes evenly to give a voluminous effect and adds length without much clumping.
This is the fake wand, straight off you notice the consistency is far more runny and stringy, although a difference in age, the other one never looked like this from the start. The bristles on the wand are COMPLETELY different. The other one was short bristles, whereas this one is one of those spiralled wands, which I personally dislike due to the fact they clump so easily!
........The pictures sum up my worst fears...............
The one closest to this caption with the label is a legit mascara from Superdrug, whereas the one on the right is a fake off Ebay. The fake didn't have all the writing printed onto the product (when purchasing the picture of the mascara in it's packaging made it very hard to tell)

The inside is also very different, L: real R: fake
The lesson learnt here for me is never again will I buy make-up from Ebay it's just too much of a high risk, it's so hard to tell, this seller had 100% positive feedback which I can't seem to understand? I never thought they ripped off drug store but I guess they do, drug store make-up is pretty cheap anyway so their hardly making much profit.
Have you been ripped off before? comment below and share your stories :)
